Found it interesting that you chose to publish that piece by Bill Chameides criticizing Canada 's oil sands. Being a Venezuelan-based publication, you already know that oil sand carbon footprint is very competitive with Venezuelan crude, on a life cycle basis. In fact, oil sands crude actually out-performs Venezuela 's heavier varieties. I totally understand why you might want to undermine oil sand production, but you know what they say about throwing stones in glass houses….
