Petrobras is to order 146 vessels for its E&P operations over the next six years. At first Petrobras will lease 64 platform supply vessels, 54 vessels to handle large anchors, 18 ships to collect oil spills and 10 towage units, while is ordering 24 of the 146 vessels it needs. Petrobras will lease the vessels following a bidding process, where 70 to 80 percent of the vessel's content must be made in Brazil.
