Saudi intelligence
We note a report sent to us over the weekend suggesting that it
was a
Saudi intelligence operation, and not an Israeli one, that was
responsible for killing a high ranking Hezbolla'ah leader two
weeks ago. This seems reasonably plausible, for we have read
several times and have heard other times, that Saudi Prince Bandar
(once the Ambassador to the US, and one of the US' closest friends
in the region), has been agitating for greater Saudi actions
against Hezbolla'ah and its supporter, Iran, for quite some while.
Bandar has made it clear many times that he perceives Iran to
be the Saudi's chief concern in the region, as Saudi Arabia and
Iran vie one against the other for dominance in The Gulf.
